CHALE ISLAND

Chale Island is a little, charming island about 600 meters from the mainland. It is 1.2 km long, 0.8 km wide, and has a basic north/south orientation. It is located 10 kilometers south of Diani. The island is separated into two sections: a tourist area and a sacred forest, or “kaya”. There is a resort located in a gorgeous 10,000 square meter white sand bay that is surrounded by a lively coral reef and is surrounded by 15 acres of indigenous ancient forest.
